How Can I Ensure my Correspondence will be acknowledged..
To ensure that the email we send you ends up in your inbox, and isn't mistakenly sent to the junk folder, please whitelist our email address, which is @researchandmarkets.com and @researchandmarkets.net.
Below is information on how to whitelist us with AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, ThunderBird and Postini. Even if your ISP or email program is not listed, with these instructions you should be able to figure out how to whitelist our email address at any ISP or with any email program.
Also, if you find email from @researchandmarkets.com OR @researchandmarkets.net in your spam or junk folder, please take that opportunity to tell your mail program that it is not spam by hitting the "not spam", "not junk" or similar button, as that will train your program to whitelist it.
AOL
To add @researchandmarkets.net to your AOL address book:
1. Open an email from us and then click the 'This Is Not Spam' button
2. Click the Mail menu and select Address Book
3. Wait for the Address Book window to pop up, then click the 'Add' button
4. Wait for the Address Card for New Contact window to load
5. Paste @researchandmarkets.net into the ‘Other E-Mail’ field
6. Make our "From" address, @researchandmarkets.net, the Primary E-Mail address by checking the appropriate box
7. Click "Save"
Yahoo!
To whitelist @researchandmarkets.net with Yahoo!, you will need to set up a "filter" after first taking the following steps:
1. If you find email from @researchandmarkets.net OR @researchandmarkets.com is going to your Yahoo! bulk folder, open it and click "Not Spam"
2. Be sure that the address @researchandmarkets.net OR @researchandmarkets.com is not in your "Blocked Addresses" list. If @researchandmarkets.net OR @researchandmarkets.com is on your "Blocked Addresses" list, select it and click "Remove Block"
Now to create the filter:
3. Open your mail and click on "Mail Options" in the upper right hand corner
4. Select 'Filters' (in the bottom left corner)
5. On the Filters page, click "Add"
6. Select the "From header:" rule, and add "contains" and @researchandmarkets.net, which tells the system to put email with @researchandmarkets.net in your inbox and not the bulk folder.
7. Click the "Choose Folder" pull down menu and select 'Inbox'
8. Pick the Add Filter button
Hotmail
To whitelist our address with Hotmail you will need to add @researchandmarkets.net to your Hotmail Safe List. Here's how:
1. First, if you find email from us in your Hotmail junk folder, open the email and click "Not Junk"
2. Next, check to see if if the email address @researchandmarkets.net is on your Blocked Senders list. If you find @researchandmarkets.net on your Hotmail blocked senders list, select it and click on the "Remove" button.
3. Next, open your mailbox and click "Options" in the upper right hand corner
4. At the top of the page, click on the "Junk E-mail Protection" link
5. Next, click on "Safe List", which is down near the bottom
6. Copy and paste @researchandmarkets.net where it says "Type an address or domain"
7. Click the "Add" button
Gmail
1. First, if you find email from us in your Gmail spam folder, select our email and click the "Not Spam" button
2. Next, open an email that you have received from us
3. Click on the little down-pointing-triangle-arrow next to "Reply":
4. Click "Add to Contacts list"
Microsoft Outlook
1. On the Tools menu, click Options
2. On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail
3. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add
4. Add @researchandmarkets.net where it says "Add address"

Thunderbird
To whitelist in Thunderbird, you will need to add @researchandmarkets.net to your address book, and then set up your Thunderbird Junk Mail Controls to whitelist your address book.
1. First, if you find email from @researchandmarkets.net in your Junk folder, right-click on our email and choose "Mark as Not Junk"
2. Next, click the Address Book button
3. Highlight the Personal Address Book
4. Click on "New Card"
5. In the "Contact" tab of the new card, copy and paste @researchandmarkets.net to the email dialog box
6. Click "Ok"
7. Next, to whitelist your address book, select "Tools > Junk Mail Controls" from the drop down menu
8. Update the "White Lists" module under the "Settings" tab by selecting "Personal Address Book" from the drop down menu, and then check the box next to "Do not mark messages as junk mail"
9. Click "Ok"
Apple Mail for OS X
1. First, if email from @researchandmarkets.net ends up in your junk folder, highlight or open it and click "Not Junk" at the top of your screen.
Then:
2. Go to Mail > Preferences from your Mail menu
3. Go to the Rules tab
4. Select Add Rule
5. Give this rule a name such as ""
6. Create a rule that says "If any of the following conditions are met: 'From' 'Contains'" and then paste in "@researchandmarkets.net"
7. From the actions, select 'Move message' to mailbox 'Inbox'.
8. Click "OK"
Postini
You do not need to whitelist email from in Postini unless you find it trapped in the "Junk" area by Postini.
1. Log into your Postini account
2. Look to see if any email from @researchandmarkets.net is listed in your Junk area
3. If you find email from @researchandmarkets.net in the Junk area, check the check box next to the email from @researchandmarkets.net
4. Click the "Deliver Selected" link at the very top of the Junk screen
5. On the next screen, click the "Approve Sender" check box next to the email from @researchandmarkets.net
6. Click the "Approve Selected Senders" button

Ordering and Using Our Shopping Basket

Can I be invoiced for my order?
Certainly, if you need a pro-forma invoice simply email . Alternatively, if ordering by fax or post, indicate that you require an invoice on your order form. If you have placed an order and have chosen to make payment by either wire transfer or check an invoice will be emailed to you automatically. Please note that your order will not be dispatched until we have received payment.

What ordering methods are available?
There are four ordering methods available:
A. Order Online - This order method is the fastest and leads to a faster dispatch of your product.
B. Order by Fax – Fax order forms can be downloaded from product pages by clicking on the "Order by Fax" link.
C. Request Pro-forma invoice - If you wish you may request a pro-forma invoice before placing your order. Please send all your details and the product details to us at
D. Order by Post – Download a fax order form from the relevent product page by clicking on ‘Order by fax’ and post the completed form to:

How do I pay for my order?
To facilitate our customers we provide a number of payment options.
- Credit card - This is the quickest payment method and ensures the fastest dispatch of your order. Research and Markets accept all major credit cards.
- Wire transfer – An invoice will be automatically emailed to you at time order is placed. See our bank details:

How do I add an item to my basket?
Add to your basket by clicking ‘Add to Basket’ on the top right side of the page. Please ensure that you select the button beside the product format you wish to acquire.

How do I access my shopping basket?
When you have completed adding products to your basket you can review all the contents by clicking the basket icon on the top right of your window or by clicking ‘
My Basket
’ in the navigation bar at the left hand side of the page.

What is the checkout process?
Once you have reviewed the contents of your basket, to finalise your order, hit the ‘Checkout’ button. If you are not a registered user, you will have to register at this time, to provide your invoice address and delivery address (if applicable). To complete your order you will need to select a payment method.

Which delivery format should I select?
- Hard Copy – This product will be shipped to you in either hard or soft cover format.
- Cd-Rom – This product will be shipped to you in the form of a Cd-Rom disc
- Electronic- This product will be emailed to you as an attachment. There are various licences available in electronic format.
- A single user licence allows you, the buyer, to have access to the report at any one time, however you may not distribute it to any one else.
- Under licence agreement, a 1-5 user licence restricts access to no more than 5 users.
- Under licence agreement, a 1-10 user licence restricts access to no more than 10 users.
- Under licence agreement, a 1-15 user licence restricts access to no more than 15 users.
- Under licence agreement, a site licence allows an entire site to use as many licenses as it needs to at a particular location
- Under licence agreement, an enterprisewide licence can be distributed throughout your organisation, so that an unlimited number of employees, within your organisation can access this.

How do I change the contents of the basket?
Go to View Basket, you can then amend the quantity you wish to purchase, or remove a product by selecting the remove link. Then hit the ‘Update Basket’ button. To continue shopping, select the 'Back' button.

How will my electronic product be delivered?
If you choose to purchase an electronic product, your order will be delivered to you via email as an attachment.

I have not received my electronic report yet, what should I do?
In order to ensure the successful delivery of your order please ensure that there is adequate room in your inbox to receive our email. Also, check that your email account is configured to receive both PDF and Word document attachments. It may be necessary to contact your administrator to ensure the email will not be trapped by a spam filter.

When can I expect to receive my order?
Due to the various time zones our customers are located in, the timeline for delivery with each customer can vary. However, we strive to dispatch electronic products in the 24 hours subsequent to receipt of payment. More often than not, electronic products are dispatched within 30 minutes of the order being received. Products that require shipping will take longer to dispatch and generally arrive 5 to 7 business days subsequent to receipt of the order.

Do you offer Academic discounts?
At the current time it is not company policy to provide discounts to students. However, we can suggest that you approach one of the companies in the relevant Industry Sector and they may purchase the product for you as part of a sponsorship package, in return for access to your final study.

Is it possible to obtain press copies of the products on your site?
At the current time we do not provide press copies of any of the products on our site.

Is it possible to buy a section of this product?
Research and Markets only sell products in their entirety to ensure that results are not taken out of context.

What price is the product in my currency?
As we are based in Ireland, all transactions are carried out through EURO. However, if you wish to view the price of your product in an alternative currency this can be checked on www.xe.com

Is tax added to your product price?
Orders originating outside of Ireland are not subject to tax. Non Hard copy orders originating In Ireland are subject to VAT of 21%. Research and Markets VAT number is 6346908N

Is the online ordering process secure?
We are committed to making a secure, safe environment for all of your online transactions. Sometimes it will be necessary for Research and Markets to request certain information on receiving an order. This information is requested so that we can confirm the cardholder authenticity. We use the information to verify that the cardholder is the person who is ordering the report.
We take special steps to protect you and your credit card. When you place an order on our site all of the information which you provide is encrypted using SSL 128 Bit Encryption. This technology safeguards your personal information and guarantees privacy.
As an additional security our online payment transactions use the CVV number (the last three digits on the signature strip of your credit or debit card) to guard against card fraud. We may, on occasion, phone or email the cardholder to confirm the transaction prior to dispatch. We also request that if possible a company email address is provided. This is not compulsory however it helps us verify that an order is legitimate.

How do I suggest my basket to a friend?
Once you have chosen the products that you wish to purchase and have added them to your shopping basket, you may suggest the contents of your basket to a friend. When viewing the contents of your shopping basket click “Suggest this basket to a friend?”. You will be requested to provide your friends' name and email address and also to leave a short message. Your friend will then receive an email with a link which will direct them to Research and Markets with a shopping basket containing the titles you suggested.

What is a CVV Number/Where can I locate it?
CVV is an anti-fraud security feature to help verify that you are in possession of your credit card.
For Visa/Mastercard, the three-digit CVV number is printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately after the card's account number For American Express, the four-digit CVV number is printed on the front of the card above the card account number.

Navigating Our Site
3.1
How do I browse your Catalogue?
All the products on Research and Markets are assigned to categories in order to make it easier to find products relevant to your area of interest. Our home page contains the top-level categories to which our products have been allocated.
3.2
How do I search for a product?
If you do not wish to browse our categories you can use our search function to locate a specific product. Enter the product name or if you have the product ID from previous browsing through our products you can also enter this. Alternatively you can input keywords relevant to the subject that you are attempting to find a product on. You may also select a category in which you would like to search in order to reduce the number of results returned.

How do I do an advanced search

Registration & My Market Research
4.1
Why Register?
If you register with Research and Markets you will be able to avail of our free ‘New Arrivals’ Notification Service. The 'New Arrivals' service allows you to be the first to know about new products in your market. You will also get free summary research and the latest price promotions. Upon registration you are provided with an account called ‘My Market Research’, which will enable you to access all your recently viewed categories and products for easy reference.

How do I register?
It’s easy to register with Research and Markets. Visit our

and simply enter your details.
The next time you visit Research and Markets you can log in with the details you created at registration by selecting the link to ‘My Market Research’. Enter the email address and password that you provided at registration to access your ‘My Market Research’ Account.

What is ‘My Market Research’ Account?
Upon registering with Research and Markets you will be provided with a ‘My Market Research’ Account. This account provides links to the categories that you have recently browsed through and links to the 20 most recent products that you have viewed. This useful facility enables you to access all your recently viewed research so you can easily return to products and categories that were of interest to you. To access your account please select the ‘My Market Research’ link on the top Navigation bar of the site.

How do I Update/Change Registration details?
It is easy to update or amend the details that you have provided us with. Once you have logged into your Research account you can select to “Edit My Contact Information” or to “Edit My Category Email Subscriptions” where you can amend any details if necessary.

Forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten your password please select the ‘Forgot your Login?’ link on the login page and your password will be emailed to the email address provided during registration.

Where is Search located?
You can access our Search tool on every page on our site. It is located on the top left hand corner of each page under the heading ‘Search for a Product’.

What is Advanced Search?

Do you require Payment before Dispatch?
Due to the nature of the products that we provide it is our policy not to dispatch a product until we have received payment in full.

What is your Refund policy?
Due to the fact the goods we provide are consumed as soon as they are received we do not provide refunds for orders once you have received them.

What is your return Policy?
Due to the nature of the information being sold, we unfortunately cannot accept returns of products once they have been delivered or the email dispatched. Try to read all available information about a report and click on ‘enquire before buying’ with any questions before placing an order.

What is your cancellation Policy?
In general Research and Markets cannot accept the cancellation of an order once it has been placed however occasionally we will consider the cancellation of an order on an individual order basis.
